

Salobreña is purported to have a true microclimate being both warmer in winter and cooler in mid summer than the rest of the Costa del Sol. It is believed to be the warmest place in mainland Europe in mid winter and yet it is only a short distance away from mainland Spain's highest mountains and the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada


There are plenty of other sports and activities which can be enjoyed locally all year round including an expanding golf course (Los Moriscos) just 10 minutes away.

For those who enjoy water activities the local Aquapark at the seafront at Almunecar in only 20 minutes away. Alternatively you could consider visiting the historic caves at Nerja.

Salobreña lies on the Costa Tropical de Granada and is just 45 minutes from the city of Granada – famous for the Alhambra. You may even have time for a Turkish Bath whilst there.
